40 YEARS OF PRINTING

OUR STORY

John LoBello opened Salty John's on Highway 101 in Lincoln City in 1975. This saltwater-only store soon outgrew itself and transformed into a full-line pet store. His late wife, Kathy, opened Comfort Clothing in the building selling high-end clothing. John had been interested in printing since high school so in 1981 Quality Printing Service was born when he bought is own printing equipment and went to to work in the back of the shop.

In 1984 they purchased land along the highway in Lincoln City and built the Basic Needs building that housed not only Quality Printing Service but also the clothing store and pet store. As the printing service grew, it took over the entire building and the family just focused on the printing business.

Today, Quality Printing Service has been growing to such an extent that we expanded and remodeled our building to make room for all of the services we offer. The expanded building houses a four-color, two-color, and single color press. Our main "workhorse" digital press is a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C3080, a Konica Minolta C654e office copier, bindery equipment, and a precision computerized cutter.
